Tip -
A pd or Pupil Distance measurement is unique to each person and is the width between both eyes measured in MM. This measurement tells us how far apart to set the centres of your lenses so that they sit over your pupils in the frame and to give best vision. This measurement is needed with any type of lens.
A height measurement is needed additionally for vari-focal lenses, and tells us how high to lift and set the lens centre. Measure this from the bottom of the glasses lens/frame upwards to where your pupil sits. This is measured in MM. Your pupil will usually be above the middle of the lens in the top half.
